Privacy Policy

Augustin Villetard ("we," "us," or "our") operates Period Tracker Elowen (the "App"). This page describes how information is handled when you use the App.

Information we collect

By default, Period Tracker Elowen does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, advertising identifier, IDFA, or IDFV for analytics.

• Local cycle and health data. All menstrual cycle, symptom, and health-related information you enter in the App stays on your device. This data is stored locally using Apple's built-in on-device storage and is never transmitted off your device. We cannot access your cycle data.
• Usage analytics. We operate a limited first-party analytics service to understand onboarding completion, important feature usage, paywall outcomes, and retention. The App sends a random analytics-only installation identifier, a session identifier, app version/build, locale, and a small predefined set of event names and bounded event properties—all content-free. The analytics service derives a country code from network request metadata; we do not store the raw IP address in the analytics database. We do not send any user-entered cycle, health, or content data to analytics.
• Analytics retention. Raw analytics events are normally retained for up to 14 days. Installation-level identifiers and activity used to calculate D1/D7/D30 retention are retained for up to 45 days. Longer-term analytics consists of aggregate counts rather than installation identifiers.
• Purchases and subscriptions. We use RevenueCat and Apple's App Store to process and manage subscriptions. Purchase and subscription status is processed by Apple and RevenueCat on our behalf. We do not receive or store your payment card details; Apple handles payment processing.

How we use information

We use the information described above to operate and improve the App; understand feature usage and onboarding effectiveness; measure aggregate retention and conversion; process and manage subscriptions; and provide customer support if you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use Factory Analytics for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Service providers

The App and our first-party analytics infrastructure rely on service providers that process data according to their own terms and privacy policies:

• Cloudflare—hosts the Factory Analytics Worker and database infrastructure: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat—subscription management: RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Superwall—paywall presentation: Superwall Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store—purchase and payment processing; Apple's privacy policy applies.

Data retention

We use the bounded analytics retention described above. Other information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law. Your cycle and health data remains on your device and is deleted when you delete the App.

Your choices

You may stop future analytics transmission by ceasing use or uninstalling the App. You may manage or cancel your subscription through the subscription-management flow available from the App's Settings screen and Apple's subscription tools.

Children's privacy

Period Tracker Elowen is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Revised terms will be made available with the App and will show an updated "Last updated" date.
